Compressing the size of image

Keeping image file sizes small is key to maintaining a fast, high-performing website. Large image files take up unnecessary space and can slow down page load times.

Here’s the method I use to compress images without any noticeable loss in quality:

Step 1: Go to tinypng.com.

Step 2: Drag and drop your image into the upload area. The compression will take a few seconds. Once it’s done, click the ‘PNG’ (or ‘JPG’) button to download the optimized image.

That’s it, your image is now ready to be uploaded to the website.

Every image used on the Lupine Studios website has been compressed using this method. Make sure not to skip this step, it’s a small action that makes a big difference.
